I’m involved in various aspects of my community and school. I’m thankful for this opportunity to be apart of this musical wonder! Music will always have a special place in my heart.
What is your greatest strength, and why?
My greatest strength is my intelligence. My ability to learn and comprehend are astounding.
What is your greatest weakness, and why?
My greatest weakness is my shyness. I’m quite the introvert, with my nose always in a book!
What skills do you need to learn to turn your greatest weakness into your greatest strength?
Going more in depth with social and communication skills will, most likely, turn my greatest weakness into my greatest strength.
What is the biggest challenge you have overcome, and what did you learn from that?
The biggest challenge I’ve had to overcome would be achieving my desired grades in school. I learned that hard work will further my education and a chance at a better life.
Why do you deserve this award?
Music is my passion and getting this reward would expand my opportunities to learn more about music. It would be a dream come true to be able to study music.
Who has been a role model for you, and why?
My choir director, Mrs.Elise Dumser, is my role model for her extensive knowledge about music and the art of vocal education.
What is the biggest mistake you made, and what have you learned from that mistake?
The biggest mistake I’ve made is not trying out for midstate this year. I missed the chance I didn’t take and I learned not to take those chances for granted.
What activities are you involved in?
Within my high school and community, I am involved in Beta, National Honors Society. the EDGE group, and choir.
How are you giving back to others?
I’m doing a service project for both the EDGE group and National Honors Society, which I am involved in at school.
Tell us about a personal achievement that makes you proud, and what you learned from that achievement?
A personal achievement of mine would be getting my permit. I was terrified of driving and thankfully, I was able to overcome my fear and obtain my permit. I learned not to be frightened of new possibilities, though scary they may be, they’ll be worth it in the end.
How do you define being a humble person?
One who does not do boast about their achievements but instead does good for others.
How do you define servant leadership?
Being humble yet qualified to lead.

I’m extremely grateful for all the musical opportunities this has given me. I’ll never be able to thank you enough!
