Tell us about yourself.

I am an alto 2 in select chorus. I am a very bubbly, friendly, and positive person. I try to be encouraging to my friends and I love pursuing my musical talents.

What is your greatest strength, and why?

My greatest strength is my ability to sing and have that natural alto 2 timbre. I strive to sing every part of my ange.

What is your greatest weakness, and why?

My greatest weakness is not being able to hold the high notes as long as I strive to.

What skills do you need to learn to turn your greatest weakness into your greatest strength?

I need to practice everyday to be able to fulfill mastering my weakness.

What is the biggest challenge you have overcome, and what did you learn from that?

I overcame finding myself and who I want to be in life. I discovered who I am and I hope that I can help others in their future.

Why do you deserve this award?

Throughout my whole high school career, I have been involved in music and my voice has matured very much throughout the years. I have been pursuing music my whole life and feel that I would very much deserve this award.

Who has been a role model for you, and why?

My parents have been my role model since day one. They have helped me through every step of life. I gained my musical talents from them, including learning many instruments, learning to harmonize, and in general, just learning how to sing correctly.

What is the biggest mistake you made, and what have you learned from that mistake?

The biggest mistake I made was becoming friends with two very negative people. From that experience, I have learned that I want to be the positive light in everybody’s life.

What activities are you involved in?

I’m involved in my select chorus group, youth group, and tennis.

How are you giving back to others?

I am always optimistic, caring, and encouraging to my other friends.

Tell us about a personal achievement that makes you proud, and what you learned from that achievement?

I was honored with getting the solo in select chorus my junior year.

How do you define being a humble person?

Being a humble person means to put others before yourself no matter what happens.

How do you define servant leadership?

Servant leadership is leading with a humble and open mind that wants to care for anyone you’re helping out.

I will always strive to do my best, no matter what.
