I am 18 years old and have been singing ever since I can remember I was adopted into a family that loves me an I have a twin sister. I play guitar and take dance classes and enjoy creating art.
What is your greatest strength, and why?
My greatest strength is kindness. I’m kind to everyone even if they have done me wrong
What is your greatest weakness, and why?
Anxiety and second guessing myself.

I just need to practice getting rid of the lies I tell myself that I’m not enough and be more confident in myself and not worry about what others think of me.
What is the biggest challenge you have overcome, and what did you learn from that?
The death of my best friend Samara. It was the most difficult thing I’ve ever gone through. I learned that life is so precious and living it while you can is so important, that it’s too short to go about hating other people and not doing what you love.
Why do you deserve this award?
Because I’m passionate about the arts and I wasn’t this to be my next step to getting myself where I want to go.
Who has been a role model for you, and why?
My biggest role model is my mom because of her strong belief in Christ and her love and patience for my entire family.

Letting people walk over me. I learned that everyone is important and what I have to say matters and what everyone has to say matters

Tell us about a personal achievement that makes you proud, and what you learned from that achievement?
My first time ever singing in front of my grade, it was really fun. I was singing and didn’t feel the need to impress and I learned I don’t need to impress anyone when doing what I love as long as I’m enjoying it that’s what I want.

Being humble is so important, it’s not showing off, or trying to be the best for attention or anything like that. It’s being happy for what you’ve accomplished and being smart about how you go about it.
