Tell us about yourself.

I was born on New Year’s Eve, I have four young siblings, two intelligent and wise parents, and a love for Christ. I love reading and writing as a way to express my own thoughts and ideas.

What is your greatest strength, and why?

I’m very passionate for things I care about and energetic when I’m having fun.

What is your greatest weakness, and why?

I’m not a fan of asking questions when I should and sometimes too much of a perfectionist. I want to get things right without having help, maybe because of embarrassment.

What skills do you need to learn to turn your greatest weakness into your greatest strength?

Asking for help to be sure instead of taking things into my own hands and then not knowing what to do.

What is the biggest challenge you have overcome, and what did you learn from that?

Sharing my emotions with others and talking about it when I do not want to. Communication is important in order to have deeper relationships with family and friends.

Why do you deserve this award?

I have much appreciation for the arts and I would love to learn and explore more about it.

Who has been a role model for you, and why?

my mother, she was raised in a separated home surrounded by opportunities to go down the wrong path but she stayed strong and went after what she wanted. She is the most wise and beautiful, inside and out, person I known.

What is the biggest mistake you made, and what have you learned from that mistake?

I’d say my biggest mistake is acting like I don’t care about situations that I know I do because it affected not only me, but my family.

What activities are you involved in?

Soccer, Young Republicans, Dance (also assistant classes), choir, and I will be joining the National Science Honors Club soon.

How are you giving back to others?

I love helping others in subjects they don’t understand or have trouble with; the club I am joining tutors kids in elementary schools about science and math.

Tell us about a personal achievement that makes you proud, and what you learned from that achievement?

I was very proud about making Tennessee Midstate last year and even though I did not make it this year because of my nervousness, I know giving up will never be an option.

How do you define being a humble person?

Someone that does brag about being better than anyone because they see themselves equal to others.

How do you define servant leadership?

Someone that is a leader to people but also helps the people they lead.

Is there anything else we should know about you?

I want to show my gratitude for the offer of a fun and educational trip, so thank you.
