Tell us about yourself.

I love singing in the choir at school and at church. Music is one of my greatest enjoyments.

What is your greatest strength, and why?

I am great at organization and order. I love to keep things in order and make sure that everything will go as planned.

What is your greatest weakness, and why?

I am terrible and reading other people’s feelings and helping them when they feel low. I am trying to get better at this everyday.

What skills do you need to learn to turn your greatest weakness into your greatest strength?

I need to learn to be more personal. If I can connect with people I can help them.

What is the biggest challenge you have overcome, and what did you learn from that?

I flew in a plane out of country for the first time last year. It was a very frightening experience but I did it.

Why do you deserve this award?

I honestly don’t deserve to be named the student that has this much honor. It is a very large title and it takes a humble person for thus. I feel that I can take it with humility and use it for good.

Who has been a role model for you, and why?

My pastors wife has had an amazing impact on my life. She helps he in every situation.

What is the biggest mistake you made, and what have you learned from that mistake?

I have had many mistakes. The biggest mistake for me is that I lied to my parents. It hurt me to know that I wasn’t trusted at that moment.

What activities are you involved in?

I am involved in DECA, student council, BETA, and Relay for life

How are you giving back to others?

I do community projects with my church.

Tell us about a personal achievement that makes you proud, and what you learned from that achievement?

I was selected for midstate my freshman year and am trying out again this year.

How do you define being a humble person?

Thinking of others before yourself and making them feel loved before thinking of myself.

How do you define servant leadership?

Being able to serve others while leading them in the ways they can better themselves.

I am very outgoing and love to show my best self. I love doing professional work.
