DESCRIPTION:Jeff Bown\, our founder/conductor\, has always been passionate about orchestral music. He conducts\, he arranges and has brought major orchestras – e.g. The London Symphony Orchestra – to the United States on tour. \nJeff Bown conducts the London Symphony Orchestra at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London\nSensing that most orchestras do little to involve their communities\, Jeff has created a new kind of orchestra —The Nashville Pops Orchestra – with dual ambitions: to be genuinely great musically\, while involving the community on many levels in everything they do. \nJeff is now in the process of finalising our orchestra roster. It probably won’t surprise you that some of the best musicians in the country have been attracted to this new concept — to its strong artistic ambitions and its committed financial support for the education of our children. Shortly we will release a list of our key players along with brief bios. We have a sensing our orchestra line-up will be the envy of many major established pops orchestras – because that’s where the NPO musicians seem to be coming from. \n
